Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)

Location: Bridgewater, NJ 08807

Pay Range: $48–$54/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join a modern practice environment focused on quality, patient-centered care. This role supports one-hour recall appointments and emphasizes a concierge-level patient experience, strong clinical standards, and thorough documentation.

Schedule

• Monday: 2:00pm – 8:00pm
• Tuesday: 2:00pm – 8:00pm (every other week)
• Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am – 4:00pm

Additional Notes

• Flexible scheduling available; evenings and weekend availability preferred
• Opportunity to add hours at nearby locations for those seeking full-time hours

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level care with excellent chairside manner and patient rapport
• Identify signs of periodontal disease and potential oral cancers
• Review and document medical histories and chief complaints
• Take x-rays and intraoral images to support treatment planning and monitor changes
• Perform precise hygiene procedures per the attending Dentist’s treatment plan
• Respond to emergencies or adverse developments during treatment
• Provide patient education and at-home care instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license (NJ)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of hygiene procedures, patient screening, and clinical documentation
• Any additional state-required certifications/licenses
