Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)

Monday: 2:00pm – 8:00pm

Tuesday: 2:00pm – 8:00pm (every other week)

Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Saturday: 9:00am – 4:00pm

Flexible scheduling available; evenings and weekend availability preferred

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $48–$54/hour
• Annualized Compensation: Approximately $64,896 – $73,008/year (based on current schedule; additional earning potential with expanded hours)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join a modern, well-established practice committed to delivering high-quality, concierge-level care. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical environment with one-hour recall appointments, allowing you to provide thorough, comprehensive care while building strong relationships with your patients.

You will be supported by a highly engaged clinical team and have access to ongoing professional development, including participation in a Hygiene Executive Committee that helps guide clinical excellence and growth.

Located in Bridgewater, NJ, this area offers a desirable suburban setting with convenient access to major highways, shopping, dining, and proximity to the greater New York metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on education and trust-building
• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapies in alignment with doctor treatment plans
• Identify signs of periodontal disease, oral pathology, and overall oral health concerns
• Take and interpret radiographs and intraoral images
• Accurately document patient medical histories, conditions, and treatment notes
• Collaborate closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond appropriately to any medical or dental emergencies during treatment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and ongoing preventative care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical knowledge of hygiene procedures, patient screening, and documentation
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform assigned duties
