Schedule

We are seeking a full-time Periodontist to join an established periodontal practice in Bryn Mawr.

Current Clinical Schedule:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

This position is being recruited as a full-time opportunity, with the schedule structured around the needs of the practice and incoming Periodontist.

The incoming Periodontist will work alongside an experienced Periodontist and established hygiene team, providing an opportunity for collaboration while developing their own productive patient schedule.

Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Periodontist to join our established Bryn Mawr specialty practice.

This opportunity is ideal for a specialist who enjoys providing comprehensive periodontal and implant care while working within an established referral and hygiene environment.

The incoming Periodontist will have access to five doctor operatories, dedicated hygiene space, CBCT imaging, and an experienced clinical team. You'll have the autonomy to diagnose and treatment plan based on individual patient needs while benefiting from the resources and infrastructure of an established specialty practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat periodontal disease and related conditions.
  • Perform comprehensive periodontal evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide surgical and nonsurgical periodontal therapy.
  • Perform periodontal regenerative and reconstructive procedures.
  • Provide dental implant treatment based on training and clinical experience.
  • Perform bone grafting and other appropriate hard- and soft-tissue procedures.
  • Utilize CBCT imaging to support diagnosis, implant planning, and surgical treatment.
  • Collaborate closely with the periodontal hygiene team to provide long-term maintenance and continuity of care.
  • Coordinate treatment with referring and restorative dentists as appropriate.
  • Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and expectations to patients.
  • Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Uphold the highest standards of specialty care, professionalism, ethics, and patient safety.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Completion of an accredited Periodontics residency program.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Periodontics.
  • Active Pennsylvania dental license in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong periodontal diagnostic and treatment-planning skills.
  • Implant dentistry experience or appropriate specialty training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered specialty care.
  • Experienced Periodontists and qualified recent residency graduates are encouraged to apply.
