Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric dental examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Deliver preventive and restorative dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs
- Educate parents and caregivers regarding oral health, prevention, treatment recommendations, and home care
- Create positive dental experiences that help children develop lifelong confidence in receiving dental care
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding treatment options and patient needs
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure coordinated, compassionate care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Uphold the highest standards of clinical quality, safety, and patient experience
Minimum Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program
- Active North Carolina dental license in good standing or ability to obtain
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered pediatric dentistry
