Dental Assistant (DA)

Location: Jersey City

Salary Range: $20–$26 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 11:00am–7:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am–3:00pm (every other week, alternating with Saturday)
• Saturday: 8:00am–2:00pm (every other week, alternating with Friday)

Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join their growing practice in Jersey City, NJ. This role is ideal for a team-oriented professional who is comfortable with an afternoon-focused weekday schedule and rotating weekend availability.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures
• Prepare and break down operatories
• Take dental radiographs (X-ray certification required)
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
• Ensure accurate patient charting and documentation
• Provide excellent patient care and chairside support
• Support overall clinical flow and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Prior dental assisting experience preferred
• Active X-ray certification required
• Weekend availability required (alternating Fridays/Saturdays)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive and professional attitude
