Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join a modern, well-established practice committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced hygienists and new graduates looking to grow in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive preventive care, patient education, and periodontal support while working alongside a highly engaged clinical team. The practice emphasizes clinical excellence, efficiency, and a strong patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on education and trust-building
  • Perform dental prophylaxis, including removal of deposits and stains above and below the gumline
  • Conduct periodontal assessments, charting, and oral cancer screenings
  • Take and process dental radiographs
  • Apply fluoride and other preventive agents to support oral health
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, plaque control, and post-treatment care
  • Accurately document patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical findings
  • Assist in maintaining emergency readiness, including CPR compliance and emergency protocols
  • Ensure proper maintenance and function of dental equipment
  • Monitor and maintain dental supply inventory
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Dental Hygienist license
  • New graduates encouraged to apply
  • Strong clinical knowledge of hygiene procedures and patient care
  • Ability to recommend hygiene products and preventive treatment solutions
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of dental technology, infection control, and oral health maintenance
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
