We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Dentist to join our established and growing practice in Hudsonville, Michigan.
This opportunity is ideal for a pediatric dental specialist who enjoys treating children across a wide range of ages and clinical needs and is comfortable managing patients who may require additional behavioral support. The incoming provider should be comfortable with sedation dentistry and protective stabilization techniques, including the use of a papoose when clinically appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric dental examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Deliver preventive, restorative, and comprehensive dental care to infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs
- Provide age-appropriate behavior guidance and patient management
- Provide and appropriately manage sedation dentistry within the provider's training, credentials, and scope of practice
- Be comfortable utilizing protective stabilization, including papoose stabilization, when clinically appropriate
- Communicate treatment recommendations clearly and compassionately with parents and caregivers
- Utilize available digital technology to support diagnosis and treatment planning
- Educate patients and families regarding oral hygiene, preventive care, diet, and long-term oral health
- Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team to provide a positive experience for children and their families
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow all applicable clinical, safety, sedation, and regulatory protocols
Minimum Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Dentistry
- Active Michigan dental license in good standing or ability to obtain
- Appropriate sedation training, credentials, and permits as required for the sedation services performed
- Comfortable treating pediatric patients with varying behavioral and clinical needs
- Comfortable with protective stabilization techniques when clinically indicated
- Strong communication skills with both children and their parents or caregivers
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality pediatric dental care
