Dental Treatment Coordinator – Split Schedule (La Jolla & Bonita, CA)
Our growing dental practice is seeking a dedicated and personable Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team, supporting both our La Jolla and Bonita locations. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment and enjoys working across multiple offices.
Schedule:
- 4 days per week total
- 2 days in La Jolla, CA
- 2 days in Bonita, CA
- Every other Saturday required
Compensation:
- $26–$30 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
The Dental Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by guiding patients through treatment plans, financial options, and scheduling. This individual will serve as a key liaison between the clinical and administrative teams while helping patients feel confident in their care decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present and explain treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients
- Discuss financial arrangements, insurance benefits, and payment options
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations as needed
- Coordinate and schedule treatment appointments efficiently across both locations
- Follow up with patients regarding pending or unscheduled treatment
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate closely with doctors and team members to support practice goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or in a similar dental front office role preferred
- Strong understanding of dental insurance, billing, and treatment planning
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and adapt to working in two office locations
- Familiarity with dental software systems is a plus
