Dental Assistant

Location: Brewster

Salary Range: $17–$28 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:45am–5:00pm

1st and 3rd Saturday of the month 7:45am–2:00pm

Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Dental Assistant to join their established practice in Brewster, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team environment that values professionalism, efficiency, and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take digital X-rays (as permitted by certification)
• Ensure proper infection control protocols are followed
• Update and maintain accurate patient records
• Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort
• Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
• Support front office duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior dental assisting experience preferred
• X-ray certification (if required by state regulations)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong team player
• Knowledge of dental software systems is a plus
