General Dentist – Elyria, Ohio (Full-Time)

Position Summary

A privately owned, full-service dental practice (not part of a DSO) in Elyria is seeking a Full-Time General Dentist to join its high-performing clinical team. Compensation & Benefits

  • $850 daily guarantee for the first 6 months, transitioning to 30%–40% of production

Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • No nights or weekends

Practice Overview

  • Privately owned, modern dental facility with 12 operatories and a dedicated surgical center
  • Comprehensive in-house dentistry including full-mouth rehabilitation, Endodontics, prosthetics, implant placement and restorations
  • In-house dental laboratory supporting prosthetic workflows and efficiency
  • CEREC same-day crown and bridge technology
  • Strong hygiene and recare program supporting consistent patient flow and long-term treatment planning
  • Collaborative clinical team and experienced support staff

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive exams and diagnose oral health conditions
  • Develop and present detailed treatment plans aligned with patient needs and practice standards
  • Provide restorative dentistry including fillings, crowns, bridgework, and prosthetic procedures
  • Perform extractions, root canal therapy, implant-related procedures, and minor surgical treatments as clinically appropriate
  • Utilize advanced imaging and digital workflows to support treatment delivery
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, and post-treatment care
  • Prescribe medications to manage infection or discomfort when indicated
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient scheduling and positive patient experience

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Active or eligible Ohio dental license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong communication skills and compassionate patient care approach
  • Ability to work effectively in a productive, comprehensive clinical environment
  • Commitment to clinical excellence and ongoing professional growth
