Registered Dental Hygienist

Location: Toledo, OH

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule:

Monday: 7:30am – 8:00pm (one late shift per week; long days are split shifts)

Tuesday: 7:30am – 8:00pm

Wednesday: 7:30am – 5:00pm

Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm

Friday: 7:30am – 2:30pm

Saturday: 7:30am – 12:00pm (rotating coverage; approximately 3–4 Saturdays per year)

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $42–$50/hour
• Annualized Compensation: Approximately $87,360 – $104,000/year (based on full-time schedule)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join a large, modern practice environment committed to delivering high-quality, concierge-level care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical setting with 50-minute appointment times, a strong preventive care model, and a high volume of new patient exams.

You will be part of a dynamic team in a multi-provider environment, supported by strong clinical systems and opportunities for continued professional development, including participation in a Hygiene Executive Committee that helps guide clinical excellence and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on education and trust-building
• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapies in alignment with doctor treatment plans
• Identify signs of periodontal disease, oral pathology, and overall oral health concerns
• Take and interpret radiographs and intraoral images
• Accurately document patient medical histories, conditions, and treatment notes
• Collaborate closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond appropriately to any medical or dental emergencies during treatment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and ongoing preventative care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Ohio
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical knowledge of hygiene procedures, patient screening, and documentation
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform assigned duties
