Pay Range: $45–$50/hour

Annualized Range: Approximately $79,600–$88,400 per year based on a 34-hour work week

Position Overview

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join a modern dental practice in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist looking for a consistent four-day work week, competitive compensation, and a patient-focused clinical environment.

Our hygienists are provided one-hour recall appointments, allowing dedicated time to deliver thorough preventive care, educate patients, and develop lasting relationships. • Monday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Thursday: OFF
• Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level care with exceptional chairside manner while building trust and rapport with patients
• Enhance overall oral health by identifying signs of periodontal disease and potential oral cancers
• Thoroughly review and document patient medical histories and chief complaints
• Take diagnostic x-rays and intraoral images to assist with treatment planning and monitor patient progress
• Perform precise oral hygiene procedures aligned with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist
• Conduct periodontal assessments and provide appropriate preventive and periodontal care
• Respond appropriately to sudden adverse developments during patient treatment and implement emergency measures when necessary
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, at-home care, and long-term oral health maintenance
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation
• Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide an exceptional patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in Rhode Island
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and detailed clinical documentation
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
• Any additional certification or licensure required by the State of Rhode Island to perform assigned duties
