Dental Hygienist

Location: Plymouth, MA 02360

Pay Range: $50–$52/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join a modern dental practice committed to quality care with one-hour recall appointments. This position focuses on concierge-level patient experiences, excellent clinical outcomes, and thorough documentation. Hygienists have opportunities for professional growth through a Hygiene Executive Committee that supports and leads the hygiene team.

Schedule

• Monday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 2:00pm

Additional Scheduling Notes

• Flexible scheduling; open to part-time (minimum 3 days) and/or switching days

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level care with exceptional chairside manner while building trust with patients
• Enhance oral health by identifying signs of periodontal disease and potential oral cancers
• Thoroughly document and review patient medical histories and chief complaints
• Take x-rays and intraoral images to support treatment planning and monitor progress/changes
• Perform precise oral hygiene procedures aligned with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist
• Respond appropriately to sudden adverse developments during patient treatment and implement emergency measures when needed
• Provide clear instructions for at-home care and ongoing oral health maintenance

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in Massachusetts
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation
• Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform assigned duties
