Position Title: Regional Account Manager – Logistics, Transportation & 3PL

Reports To: VP / Director of Sales

Compensation: Base Salary + Lucrative, Uncapped Commission

Travel: Approximately 50% (regional, air & car)

 

Position Summary

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding strategic customer relationships across transportation, warehousing, and 3PL logistics services. This role focuses on driving profitable revenue growth within assigned accounts while supporting customers in floor covering, home improvement, building materials, and other product-based industries, as well as additional verticals.

 

The position requires strong knowledge of LTL, specialized and oversized freight, rolled goods, expedited shipping, consolidation, pool distribution, and nationwide warehousing solutions. Success is driven by consultative selling, cross-functional collaboration, and long-term relationship development.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned strategic accounts
  • Identify opportunities for incremental business and expanded service offerings
  • Sell integrated transportation, warehousing, and 3PL solutions
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue and growth targets
  • Prepare and present pricing, proposals, and sales contracts
  • Coordinate with Operations, Customer Support, Pricing, and Leadership teams to ensure service execution and customer satisfaction
  • Manage CRM activity, sales pipeline, forecasts, and reporting
  • Conduct customer business reviews and performance evaluations
  • Support onboarding, customer alignment, and ongoing account optimization
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
  • Communicate market feedback, service opportunities, and competitive intelligence to internal teams
  • Assist with collections and contract maintenance as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
