Vice President of Sales for the Americas

Location: Remote (Southeast U.S. Focus)

 

Position Overview

An innovative, high-growth manufacturer is seeking its first VP of Sales for the Americas to build and lead the commercial organization from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to develop the sales strategy, establish key customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and build a high-performing sales team for a disruptive product serving the logistics, manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the U.S. sales organization, including strategy, processes, and future team development.
  • Develop and execute commercial growth strategies across multiple industries and market segments.
  • Personally pursue and close large enterprise opportunities with manufacturers, distributors, and 3PL providers.
  • Negotiate long-term customer agreements and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify new product opportunities, market verticals, and strategic partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry events and recruit top sales talent as the organization expands.

 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience, including 5+ years in sales leadership.
  • Proven experience selling plastic pallets, reusable packaging, or material handling solutions.
  • Demonstrated success converting customers from wood pallets or competing plastic pallet solutions.
  • Established relationships with procurement and supply chain executives.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles (6–18 months).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business development skills; startup experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and ESG purchasing trends is preferred.
