CEO OPPORTUNITY

Automotive Aftermarket | Manufacturing | E-Commerce

Reporting To: Founder

The Opportunity

A growing, founder-led automotive aftermarket company with approximately $20 million in annual revenue is seeking an entrepreneurial Chief Executive Officer to lead its next phase of growth, with a long-term objective of reaching $100 million in revenue.

The company has established a strong brand, a passionate customer following, an extensive dealer network, and a foundation for continued expansion. The opportunity is to build on that success by strengthening operations, expanding product offerings, improving global supply relationships, and developing the organization needed to support significant growth.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on business leader who enjoys building, scaling, and working directly with a founder to turn an ambitious vision into measurable results.

The Role

The CEO will assume overall responsibility for business operations, organizational performance, strategic execution, and long-term growth. Working closely with the founder, the CEO will translate company vision into clear priorities, build accountability, develop the leadership team, and establish the processes required to scale.

Key priorities include:

  • Growth and Strategy: Develop and execute a scalable growth plan across products, channels, distribution, and potential acquisitions.
  • Product Development: Build a forward-looking product roadmap that anticipates market demand and identifies new revenue opportunities.
  • Global Supply Chain: Strengthen existing supplier relationships, develop new manufacturing partnerships in China and other geographies, and improve product availability, quality, cost, and supply-chain resilience.
  • Operations and Financial Performance: Lead warehousing, fulfillment, distribution, inventory, forecasting, and operational efficiency while maintaining financial discipline.
  • Leadership and Culture: Build and develop a high-performing team, strengthen accountability, and introduce the structure needed for growth without losing the company's entrepreneurial energy.
  • Founder Partnership: Serve as a trusted operating and strategic partner, translating ideas into practical plans and respectfully challenging assumptions when needed.

The Ideal Executive

The successful candidate will bring a combination of strategic thinking, operational depth, commercial understanding, and entrepreneurial drive.

Ideally, this individual will have:

  • Served as a CEO, COO, President, General Manager, or comparable senior operating leader.
  • Demonstrated success scaling a product-based, manufacturing, distribution, or e-commerce business.
  • Strong experience in supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, product development, and distribution.
  • Experience with direct-to-consumer sales, e-commerce, dealer networks, or multichannel distribution.
  • A record of improving business performance, building teams, and translating growth strategies into results.
  • Experience with acquisitions, integration, or a successful business exit is desirable.

Automotive aftermarket or performance-products experience is a strong advantage. Executives from adjacent manufacturing and consumer-product businesses will also be considered if they have the right operating and growth experience.

The right leader is hands-on, decisive, adaptable, financially astute, and comfortable working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment. A genuine interest in automotive performance and enthusiast culture is important.

The Founder Partnership

The founder is seeking a true partner who can take ownership of day-to-day leadership and business execution while helping shape the company's future.

The CEO will have the opportunity to lead the organization, strengthen its infrastructure, develop its people, and pursue new growth opportunities while working collaboratively with the founder on strategy and major business priorities.

Chemistry, mutual trust, direct communication, and complementary strengths will be essential to the relationship.

Location and Travel

Domestic and international travel will be required, including visits to manufacturing and supplier locations. Lodging support may be available for an out-of-area candidate during the initial transition.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This is not a maintenance role. It is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial executive to help scale an established automotive aftermarket business, build the organization for its next stage, and have a meaningful impact on the company's long-term direction and success.

For the right leader, this represents an opportunity to build something substantial alongside a founder with a clear vision and ambitious growth goals.
