Our client’s company is an award-winning third-party logistics (3PL) company providing turnkey direct-to-consumer and retail fulfillment services for high-growth brands. With a global footprint that includes facilities in the United States, Canada, and Europe, we deliver state-of-the-art e-commerce and retail fulfillment solutions designed to scale with our clients. Our six U.S. facilities—located in California, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky—are strategically positioned to ensure fast, cost-effective delivery nationwide. We offer highly customized logistics services that help brands reduce costs, boost operational efficiency, and elevate their customer experience.


While our facilities are located in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and California, this position requires someone with deep knowledge, experience, and a strong network in West Coast markets—particularly in the CPG, beauty, consumer electronics, and other branded product sectors. The role may involve frequent travel throughout the West Coast, with most prospects based in major cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. Occasional travel to other company facilities is also expected. This position reports to the VP of Sales, who is based on the West Coast.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities through strategic prospecting.
  • Conduct cold outreach within target markets to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Leverage and expand your professional network to connect with potential clients.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within prospective organizations.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the ecommerce landscape, including emerging platforms like TikTok, Instagram Shop, and more.
  • Engage in conferences to meet with partners and prospects; leverage familiarity with clubs or local events in key verticals or ecommerce tech to further expand your network.
  • Develop tailored outreach strategies and sales pitches aligned with client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create customized proposals that address client goals and challenges.
  • Lead the development of pricing models, solution design, and business case analysis.
  • Introduce new service offerings while strengthening existing client relationships.
  • Operate effectively within a matrixed environment, working cross-functionally with IT, Operations, Account Management, and Sales teams.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and activity tracking using CRM tools.


OTHER SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of Sales and Operational experience in the 3PL industry or adjacent industries
  • This role requires someone who is result oriented, a self-starter and a proactive person
  • Ability to drive business growth, conduct market research, generate leads, and present proposals
  • Proven ability to find, confidently interact, and present to and with c-level individuals and other decision-makers


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years of experience selling 3PL warehouse and fulfillment services o
  • Proven negotiation skills and a strong track record in customer relationship management
  • Proficient in sales software and tools, including CRM platforms such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other prospecting tools
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office tools, with an emphasis on Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data modeling) for forecasting, pricing analysis, and sales reporting
  • Demonstrated success in outside sales and territory development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a high-performance sales environment
