KēSTA I.T. is seeking a Network Engineer.

Network Engineer:

We're seeking a Network Engineer to join our team, focusing on the implementation, operation, and maintenance of our enterprise-class network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with core network technologies and a strong background in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of network services. This role requires an adaptable professional who can work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality support and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configuration & Implementation: Configure and install a range of network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Maintenance & Support: Perform day-to-day operational support and maintenance of the network environment.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network performance, connectivity, and configuration issues using tools and other monitoring systems.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor network performance, resource utilization, and capacity, and proactively make recommendations for improvement.
• Strategic Planning: Work on projects of varying complexity related to network planning, design, and optimization.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Coordinate with engineering and other teams on new implementations and act as a mentor to junior staff.
• Availability: Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise-class networks, Data Center switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong understanding of Service Provider Networking Technologies (L3VPN/L2VPN/EVPN).
• Proven ability to design and implement large-scale, multi-protocol enterprise-wide networks.
• Experience with Enterprise Ethernet Switching (Spine-Leaf) and managing LANs, WANs, and WLANs.
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.
• Professional Certifications: A CCNP or equivalent professional network certification is a plus.
• Education: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Personal Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-service orientation.
