Job Description:
We Are Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and execution of complex infrastructure projects within water and wastewater systems. This role is responsible for overseeing capital improvement and rehabilitation initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with technical and operational standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in engineering principles, project management expertise, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders to successfully deliver large-scale infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
· Manage capital improvement, replacement, and rehabilitation projects across infrastructure systems and facilities.
· Lead all phases of project delivery, including planning, design, and construction.
· Develop project scopes, budgets, and cost estimates, and support long-range planning efforts.
· Procure and administer construction contracts, including managing consultants and contractors.
· Perform technical review of engineering design plans and specifications.
· Coordinate project activities with stakeholders, operational teams, and cross-functional departments.
· Oversee construction progress and ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
· Integrate final construction documentation into work and asset management systems.
· Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field.
· Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering or a related field.
· Knowledge of engineering principles applicable to infrastructure projects.
· Understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry practices.
· Experience in water and/or wastewater engineering design, construction, inspection, or project management.
· Experience managing consultants and contractor teams, including scope development, proposal review, permitting, and payment application review.
· Strong ability to review and interpret engineering design and construction drawings.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Preferred Skills:
· Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
· Experience managing large-scale capital improvement projects.
