Job Description:
We Are Seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst / Salesforce Developer to design, develop, customize, integrate, and maintain Salesforce solutions supporting complex customer relationship management (CRM) requirements. This role will be responsible for translating business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions while supporting the full Salesforce development lifecycle. The position requires strong hands-on development experience across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Salesforce configuration, integrations, data migration, and CI/CD processes.
You will work closely with technical managers, architects, business stakeholders, developers, customers, and end users to define requirements, develop technical solutions, manage releases, support integrations, and ensure solutions align with established business objectives, security standards, and long-term technology strategies. The role requires a self-motivated professional who can manage multiple priorities, communicate technical concepts effectively, and deliver quality solutions within established deadlines.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, technical managers, architects, developers, and end users to gather, analyze, and define technical requirements for new Salesforce projects and enhancements.
· Translate business requirements and performance objectives into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce technical solutions.
· Ensure technical designs align with established requirements, organizational strategies, application standards, and long-term technology objectives.
· Take ownership of Salesforce application release cycles, including development, testing, deployment, enhancements, and updates to existing applications and code.
· Maintain overall technical responsibility for Salesforce development and project environments.
· Establish and maintain development guidelines, coding standards, technical practices, and architectural standards for development teams.
· Collaborate with developers and technical teams supporting other enterprise systems to design and implement cross-platform integrations.
· Ensure Salesforce solutions adhere to applicable security guidelines, standards, authentication requirements, and secure development practices throughout the application lifecycle.
· Assess Salesforce architecture and recommend secure, scalable, high-performance solutions across the Salesforce platform.
· Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Apex Triggers, Aura Components, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce configuration tools.
· Configure Salesforce using declarative/no-code capabilities, including Flows, Process Builders, Workflow Rules, and comparable platform functionality.
· Develop and maintain solutions within Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
· Participate in all phases of the Salesforce implementation lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, development, testing, deployment, migration, integration, and ongoing support.
· Design and implement Salesforce integrations with cloud-based and on-premises applications using standard and custom REST APIs and web services.
· Develop and support integrations using REST and SOAP, JSON and XML, and related web technologies.
· Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and other applicable protocols, for third-party integrations.
· Develop and maintain Batch Apex and Scheduled Apex solutions.
· Support end-to-end technical responsibilities for Salesforce programs, including data migration, data quality, system integrations, third-party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development.
· Support migrations from Salesforce Classic to Lightning and modernization of legacy Visualforce portals to Salesforce Digital Experience Sites.
· Customize and support Salesforce scheduling solutions, including GoMeddo or comparable scheduling platforms.
· Develop and maintain solutions using Conga Composer.
· Support Salesforce DX (SFDX) development, source control, branch management, code merging, and deployment activities.
· Support CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps or comparable development and release-management tools.
· Define, communicate, and manage technical change-management and release processes for Salesforce technology initiatives.
· Identify, assess, document, and communicate technical risks, issues, dependencies, and potential impacts.
· Develop and maintain technical architecture documentation for solutions spanning multiple platforms, integrations, authentication mechanisms, and enterprise applications.
· Participate in data migration and cloud integration initiatives as needed.
· Develop training plans and supporting documentation to facilitate a successful transition of Salesforce solutions to maintenance and operations teams.
· Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership and decision-makers.
· Deliver technology solutions that provide measurable business value while supporting organizational goals and operational requirements.
· Provide technical guidance and support throughout the application lifecycle and assist with ongoing production support and enhancements.
· Work effectively in dynamic environments while managing deadlines, competing priorities, and multiple technical initiatives.
Required Skills
· 6+ years of strong Salesforce development experience.
· Demonstrated hands-on experience with Salesforce, including Salesforce DX (SFDX) and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle.
· 4+ years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript.
· 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud.
· 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Digital Experience Sites.
· 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, including Lightning Web Components (LWC).
· Strong hands-on experience with Apex programming, Visualforce pages, Apex Triggers, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.
· Strong knowledge and working experience with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
· Experience participating in each phase of full Salesforce.com lifecycle implementations.
· In-depth understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture, limitations, and development practices.
· Strong experience implementing Salesforce solutions using declarative/no-code capabilities, including Flows, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules.
· Strong experience migrating Salesforce Classic to Lightning.
· Experience migrating legacy Visualforce portals to Salesforce Digital Experience Sites.
· 5+ years of experience with GoMeddo Scheduling customization, or equivalent experience with comparable scheduling products.
· 5+ years of experience with Conga Composer.
· Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with cloud-based and on-premises applications using standard and custom REST APIs.
· Strong knowledge of core web technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
· Experience implementing authentication protocols, including OAuth, for third-party application integrations.
· Demonstrated experience developing Batch Apex and/or Scheduled Apex.
· Experience managing end-to-end Salesforce technical activities involving data migrations, data quality, system integrations, third-party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development.
· Experience designing and documenting technical architecture solutions spanning multiple platforms, integrations, and authentication mechanisms.
· Experience supporting SFDX development, source control, branch management, merging, and code deployment.
· Experience using Azure DevOps to support CI/CD, build, deployment, source control, requirements tracking, or release-management activities.
· Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and the ability to design secure, scalable, and high-performance technical solutions.
· Ability to identify, assess, and communicate technical risks and issues.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders and communicate strategic technical concepts at multiple organizational levels.

· 2+ years of experience with API integrations and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations.
· 5+ years of experience working with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud.
