KēSTA I.T is actively seeking a Business Analyst for an immediate contract engagement with our client.
Job Description:
We Are Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to serve as a senior functional and analytical resource supporting large-scale, complex information systems. This role will lead business analysis activities across the full solution lifecycle, with a strong focus on Salesforce-based platforms, business process improvement, requirements management, Agile delivery, technical collaboration, and security and compliance. The Lead Business Analyst will translate business objectives into clear technical and functional requirements while partnering with stakeholders, architects, developers, vendors, and project teams to ensure successful solution delivery. The ideal candidate will also provide analytical leadership, mentor other analysts, and help ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, security requirements, and business goals.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as the senior business analysis resource for Salesforce-based applications and related enterprise systems.
· Lead discovery sessions and gather, analyze, prioritize, and validate requirements across multiple stakeholder groups.
· Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, business rules, data definitions, functional specifications, and configuration requirements.
· Analyze and improve existing business processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and improve system utilization.
· Evaluate Salesforce solutions involving Administration, Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Communities/Digital Experiences, and Conga Composer.
· Collaborate with technical architects and development teams to evaluate solution designs, integration approaches, security models, and technical specifications.
· Support integrations between Salesforce and systems using REST APIs, SQL Server, Oracle, Azure services, microservices, and legacy technologies.
· Maintain and manage Agile backlogs, releases, requirements, and defect remediation using Azure DevOps.
· Facilitate Agile activities such as sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, reviews, and related delivery sessions.
· Ensure user stories and requirements are complete, clearly documented, testable, and aligned with established standards.
· Track project risks, dependencies, issues, and impacts while communicating critical items to appropriate stakeholders.
· Conduct feasibility assessments and contribute to cost-benefit, ROI, and total-cost-of-ownership evaluations.
· Support development of Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and other procurement documentation.
· Partner with security teams to support security reviews, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities.
· Develop and maintain security-related documentation, including system security plans, risk assessments, and plans of action and milestones.
· Coordinate security scanning activities and assist in addressing identified vulnerabilities.
· Work with QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and can be effectively validated through testing.
· Serve as the communication bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, leadership, vendors, and other project participants.
· Present complex technical and business information in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Mentor and provide guidance to other business analysts and contribute to consistent business analysis practices.
· Support complex, multi-year modernization initiatives and other strategic technology projects.
Required Skills
· 10+ years of experience in business analysis.
· Extensive experience with Salesforce, including Salesforce Administration, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Flows, Communities/Digital Experiences, and Conga Composer.
· Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using Azure DevOps for requirements, backlog, and delivery management.
· Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Java, .NET, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
· Experience developing Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and procurement documentation.
· Strong requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and prioritization skills.
· Experience developing functional specifications, use cases, workflows, process diagrams, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
· Experience with business process analysis and reengineering.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with technical architects, developers, QA teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and leadership.
· Strong understanding of technical integrations, application architecture, and enterprise systems.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.
Preferred Skills
· Experience mentoring or providing guidance to other business analysts.
· Scrum Master certification or experience leading Agile/Scrum activities.
· Experience with microservices, enterprise integrations, and distributed architectures.
· Experience supporting security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation activities.
· Experience working with security frameworks and controls such as NIST.
· Experience with complex Salesforce integrations and enterprise application environments.
· Experience supporting large-scale modernization initiatives.
