Job Description:

We Are Seeking an experienced Rhapsody Developer to design, develop, and support healthcare integration solutions that enable secure and efficient data exchange across enterprise systems. This role will be responsible for developing interfaces, supporting enterprise service bus integrations, and ensuring data integrity across healthcare platforms. The Rhapsody Developer will also contribute to system design, application integration, and ongoing enhancements to support critical business processes and interoperability initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Integration Development and System Design

·         Design and develop integration solutions based on business and technical requirements.

·         Develop interfaces supporting enterprise service bus (ESB) integrations.

·         Create technical designs and system architecture documentation.

·         Develop custom filters, mappings, and configurations using integration development tools.

·         Develop and support API integrations including REST, SOAP, and web services.

·         Translate data between healthcare data formats such as HL7, FHIR, CCDA, XML, and JSON.

·         Support database integrations with systems such as SQL Server and Oracle.

Application Support and Implementation

·         Support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of integration solutions.

·         Monitor and maintain integration processes to ensure data integrity and system reliability.

·         Develop and maintain database and network connections using standard protocols.

·         Support secure data transmission through established authentication and encryption standards.

·         Participate in code reviews and maintain required SDLC documentation.

·         Collaborate with technical teams and business analysts to support integration initiatives.

Standards, Compliance, and Collaboration

·         Ensure solutions align with healthcare interoperability standards and implementation guides.

·         Support compliance with system development and security standards.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing integration projects.

·         Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and integration teams.

·         Identify opportunities to improve automated processes and system integrations.

Required Skills:

·         Experience developing healthcare integration solutions.

·         Strong JavaScript programming experience.

·         Strong SQL and database integration experience.

·         Experience working with XML and structured data formats.

·         Experience working with HL7 v2 messaging standards.

·         Experience working with HL7 FHIR standards.

·         Experience working with CDA standards and related document formats.

·         Knowledge of healthcare vocabularies such as LOINC, SNOMED, and RxNorm.

·         Experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE) technologies.

·         Knowledge of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) standards.

·         Experience implementing solutions based on technical implementation guides.

Preferred Skills

·         Experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine (version 7.x or similar).

·         Experience using Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK).

·         Experience developing custom data transformations between formats such as HL7, JSON, and XML.

·         Experience developing integrations using REST, SOAP, OAuth, TCP/IP, or LLP protocols.

·         Experience implementing secure transport protocols such as TLS and certificate-based authentication.

·         Experience supporting enterprise healthcare integration environments.
