Job Description:
We Are Seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer/Data Modernization Specialist to design, develop, enhance, and maintain custom SharePoint Online solutions that improve collaboration, document management, workflow automation, and organizational productivity. This role will support the full lifecycle of SharePoint development including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. The specialist will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-focused SharePoint solutions aligned with modern Microsoft 365 technologies.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements for SharePoint solutions.
· Conduct feasibility assessments and recommend best practices for SharePoint implementations.
· Develop project plans including timelines, milestones, and resource planning.
· Design solution architecture including data models, integrations, and user interface components.
· Develop custom SharePoint solutions including applications, workflows, dashboards, forms, and integrations.
· Implement workflow automation using tools such as Power Platform solutions or custom development.
· Integrate SharePoint solutions with other enterprise systems and platforms.
· Ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and best practices.
· Perform code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance activities.
· Develop and execute test plans including functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
· Coordinate user acceptance testing and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
· Prepare deployment documentation and support solution implementation across environments.
· Provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting assistance.
· Perform ongoing maintenance including monitoring, updates, bug fixes, and enhancements.
· Maintain technical documentation and configuration records for implemented solutions.
· Provide technical training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to users and support teams.
· Ensure solutions comply with security policies and regulatory requirements.
· Provide regular status updates and progress reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills:
· Proven experience developing and maintaining custom SharePoint solutions.
· Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online.
· Experience developing solutions using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
· Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
· Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI.
· Experience developing workflow automation solutions.
· Experience performing data analysis using SharePoint lists and libraries.
· Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies.
· Experience working through the full software development lifecycle including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment.
· Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
· Experience integrating SharePoint with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
· Experience supporting SharePoint modernization or migration initiatives.
· Experience providing end-user training and technical knowledge transfer.
· Experience supporting enterprise document management and workflow automation initiatives.
· Experience working in regulated or security-focused environments.
· Experience developing dashboards and analytics solutions to support business decision-making.
