Job Description:

We Are Seeking a Lead DevSecOps / Azure DevOps / OpenShift (Kubernetes) Engineer to support large, complex technology initiatives. This role provides technical leadership, architectural direction, and mentorship to development and operations teams. The engineer will ensure that DevSecOps practices, container orchestration platforms, and CI/CD pipelines are effectively implemented and aligned with application and business requirements. A strong understanding of APIs, microservices, containerization, and related platform technologies is essential.

Responsibilities:

·           Lead and support DevSecOps, Azure DevOps, and OpenShift (Kubernetes) engineering functions across multiple enterprise projects.

·           Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) structures including Wikis, Work Items, Git Repos/Branches, Pull Requests, Standards, and Processes.

·           Build and automate CI/CD pipelines for Red Hat OpenShift, Linux, Windows, SQL Server, Oracle, and other environments.

·           Create ADO build and deployment pipelines for Java and .NET applications, including container image creation and integration with application servers and databases (Tomcat, JBoss, SQL Server, Oracle, Windows, Linux).

·           Develop documentation for processes, automation frameworks, and deployment procedures.

·           Provide troubleshooting support for applications running on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.

·           Create build, deployment, and custom resource definition (CRD) configurations for OpenShift-based applications.

·           Develop Docker and Source-to-Image (S2I) images, stateful sets, and convert between Docker and S2I image types.

·           Manage container orchestration using OpenShift/Kubernetes, including the use of custom Helm charts.

·           Maintain and manage Docker image repositories such as Quay.

·           Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to successfully deploy, upgrade, and maintain applications and platforms.

·           Administer and optimize Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), including index curation and performance management.

·           Configure Logstash pipelines and grok patterns; work with Elastic Beats (Filebeat, Heartbeat).

·           Integrate SonarQube, Coverity, and Black Duck into Azure DevOps pipelines and pull-request flows.

·           Write and maintain automation scripts using Linux shell scripting (.ksh, bash) and Python.

·           Diagnose and resolve Java-related application errors.

·           Apply strong knowledge of SSL, TCP/IP networking, and LDAP integrations.

·           Communicate clearly and work effectively with diverse internal teams.

·           Manage workloads independently with strong planning, organization, documentation, and time-management skills.

Required Skills:

·           8+ years of experience working with Kubernetes / OpenShift.

·           8+ years of experience with Linux shell scripting.

·           5+ years of experience in application containerization and container management.

·           Experience with DevSecOps practices, infrastructure automation, and scripting/programming.

·           5+ years of hands-on experience with the following technologies:

·           OpenShift

·           SonarQube

·           Black Duck

·           Linux

·           Bash

·           Shell scripting

·           S2I

·           Python

·           NGINX

·           WebSphere
