Job Description:
We Are Seeking an experienced and versatile Application Architect to provide application development and integration services within a multi-agency technical environment. This role is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise-level applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will lead and execute full project lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, and support, ensuring alignment with system engineering methodologies and best practices.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain client/server and web-based applications following established system engineering methodologies.
· Lead the architecture and implementation of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including Power Automate and Power Pages.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business and technical requirements.
· Design technical architecture that spans multiple platforms, integrating systems and authentication mechanisms.
· Provide advanced technical support for Dynamics 365 and related tools.
· Manage and support Azure-based services and infrastructure, including API integrations.
· Define and manage CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and change management procedures.
· Create comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, deployment instructions, and support guides.
· Provide troubleshooting and resolution support for complex application and infrastructure issues.
· Support performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization across platforms.
· Deliver clear oral and written reports, presentations, and technical documentation for a variety of audiences.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive solution delivery and maintain application reliability and scalability.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations
- 5+ years of architectural experience in enterprise environments
- 3+ years of experience with Power Platform tools including Power Automate and Power Pages
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services and architecture
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project tracking (5+ years)
- 3+ years of experience in database architecture and integration
- 5+ years of infrastructure, network, and application support experience
- Knowledge of release/change management processes and CICD pipeline configuration
- Experience designing solutions that require cross-platform integration and authentication
- Familiarity with Azure Communication Services and APIs
- Skilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and reporting
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop efficient solutions
- Effective in high-pressure environments, especially when troubleshooting technical issues
- Customer service-oriented with a background as a technical support analyst (5+ years)
- Extensive experience supporting MS Dynamics, MS Azure, and enterprise applications (5+ years)
