SAP ABAP Developer

Position Overview
KēSTA I.T. is seeking an SAP ABAP Developer at the SME level to provide SAP system support and SuccessFactors integration support.This is a technical developer role centered on ABAP design and development, backed by functional knowledge across several SAP business areas. The services are as-needed, not full-time, and are used when the client needs additional staff support. Success means dependable interface support, effective root-cause resolution of development system issues, and smooth SuccessFactors integration work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide SAP system support for a public sector SAP environment on an as-needed basis
- Support interfaces between the client organization and a state-level SAP system
- Provide integration support for the implementation of the SuccessFactors EC and ECP modules
- Design and develop ABAP solutions, applying ABAP Object Oriented programming
- Analyze and develop fixes to determine and resolve root causes of SAP development system issues
- Develop and maintain workflows and interfaces as the work requires
- Use SAP Business Process Automation by Redwood (SAP BPA) to support automation needs
- Collaborate with other State resources to deliver support and integration work
- Provide on-call support on an as-needed basis
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 8 years of experience in ABAP design and development, including strong experience in ABAP Object Oriented programming (SME level; minimum of 8 years)
- Functional knowledge in at least three of the following areas: Finance, Customer Relationship Management, Logistics, Supplier Relationship Management, SUS/ROS, MDM, HCM
- 4 years of experience working with an SAP operational system for a Public Sector client
- 3 years of experience using SAP Business Process Automation by Redwood (SAP BPA)
- Advanced-level experience with analysis and development activities to determine and resolve root causes of SAP development system issues
- Ability to work remotely from within the US
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience with SuccessFactors Cloud Platform Integration, ideally including integration between SuccessFactors EC/ECP and SAP on-premise HCM, plus non-SAP systems
- 2 years of experience with SAP Portal support
- Experience with analysis and development activities to resolve root causes of incidents (intermediate level)
- Experience with WebDynPro
- 2 years of experience with workflow development and maintenance
