Business Development Representative (Hunter Role)

📍 Utah-based | Hybrid / Remote | Full-Time

KēSTA I.T. is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who lives for client development — This is a true Hunter, (not a Farmer).We're looking for a high-impact person who thrives in relationship-driven sales, understands the Utah I.T. ecosystem, and has a proven track record of bringing in new clients within the technology space.


This person must love the thrill of solution focused sales while always maintaining a strong adherence to our Core Values- People First, Integrity and Ethics, Growth, Accountability, Respect and Continuous Improvement.


What You’ll Do

  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with new clients across Utah’s public and private sector I.T. market.
  • Develop and execute creative outreach strategies to generate leads and grow our client base.
  • Partner closely with our delivery team to ensure client needs are met with excellence.
  • Attend local tech and networking events to strengthen KēSTA I.T.’s visibility and reputation in the Utah market.
  • Track pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and hit or exceed quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay sharp on market trends, competition, and client demand to help shape our growth strategy.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of business development or client-facing sales experience in the Utah I.T. staffing or consulting market (required).
  • Strong existing relationships or contacts within Utah’s I.T. ecosystem.
  • Proven success in a hunter-style sales environment — you know how to open doors and close deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and competitive in the best possible way.
  • Passionate about I.T., people, and creating long-term client partnerships.
