KēSTA I.T is actively seeking a Business Analyst for an immediate contract engagement with our client.
Job Description:
We Are Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to partner closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, project leadership, and delivery teams to support business discovery, process analysis, user acceptance testing (UAT), training readiness, and Azure DevOps backlog management. This role serves as a bridge between business operations and technical delivery teams, ensuring solutions align with business needs and are successfully adopted by end users. The ideal candidate will have strong requirements gathering, process modeling, Agile/Scrum, documentation, stakeholder facilitation, and UAT experience, along with the ability to manage complex business and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Partner with business stakeholders and Product Owners to understand organizational needs, objectives, and operational challenges.
· Translate business needs into clearly defined requirements, functional documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
· Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, eliminate manual workarounds, and address operational gaps.
· Create visual representations of business processes, workflows, system interactions, and data flows to help teams understand current and future-state operations.
· Work with Product Owners and delivery teams to organize and prioritize backlog items, ensuring requirements remain aligned with business objectives.
· Assist Agile teams throughout sprint planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and other Scrum activities as needed.
· Coordinate business participation in user acceptance testing and ensure testing activities adequately reflect real-world business processes.
· Develop UAT plans, scenarios, validation criteria, and supporting documentation.
· Monitor testing progress, document defects and results, and communicate outstanding issues and acceptance decisions to project stakeholders.
· Evaluate proposed solutions against documented business requirements and help confirm that delivered functionality meets stakeholder expectations.
· Support organizational readiness by developing training materials, job aids, quick-reference guides, and other end-user resources.
· Facilitate training and knowledge-transfer sessions to help users understand new processes, functionality, and system changes.
· Maintain traceability between requirements, development activities, testing, and implementation using Azure DevOps.
· Support the organization and maintenance of Epics, Features, User Stories, Tasks, and related work items.
· Develop and maintain Azure DevOps dashboards, queries, reports, and supporting project documentation.
· Maintain accurate business rules, process documentation, requirements artifacts, and other project records throughout the delivery lifecycle.
· Support governance and delivery standards by ensuring required documentation and business analysis activities are completed.
· Identify dependencies, risks, gaps, and potential impacts associated with proposed process or system changes.
· Facilitate discussions between technical and business teams to resolve questions, clarify requirements, and reach agreement on solutions.
· Provide clear status updates, analysis, recommendations, and findings to project leadership and stakeholders.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities to enhance business processes, system functionality, and user adoption.
Required Skills
· 8+ years of experience gathering and analyzing requirements from users and stakeholders.
· 6+ years of experience developing technical and business requirements documentation.
· 4+ years of experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies, processes, and ceremonies.
· 3+ years of experience managing Epics, Features, User Stories, and Tasks using Azure DevOps backlog management tools.
· CBAP Certification required.
· Experience using Azure DevOps for backlog and work item management.
· Experience supporting Product Owners in Agile delivery environments.
· Strong process analysis, workflow modeling, and requirements documentation skills.
· Experience developing UAT strategies, test scenarios, validation plans, and acceptance documentation.
· Experience creating training plans, end-user training materials, job aids, and operational readiness documentation.
· Strong stakeholder facilitation and communication abilities.
· Ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
· Experience documenting business processes, system integrations, and data flows.
· Experience with workflow modeling tools such as Bizagi is preferred.
· Experience supporting large-scale government, healthcare, financial, or enterprise technology implementations is preferred.
· Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities while working effectively with business, technical, and project teams.
