Job Description:
We Are Seeking a highly experienced Software Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions supporting complex case management, field service operations, and user engagement platforms. This role will provide technical leadership across application architecture, platform optimization, system integration, security, and modernization initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Salesforce architecture and development, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Field Service Lightning (FSL), as well as strong experience with SQL, Java, web services, and DevOps practices. This position requires the ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The Software Solutions Architect will also provide technical direction to development teams, oversee proof-of-concepts, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure solutions align with established security, performance, development, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the end-to-end architecture and technical design of Salesforce solutions supporting case management, field service operations, and user engagement.
· Design, develop, test, document, and implement technical software solutions.
· Conduct Salesforce org health checks and platform assessments and provide actionable recommendations based on Salesforce best practices.
· Participate in design and discovery sessions and promote adoption of Salesforce Well-Architected Framework principles.
· Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
· Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, development teams, and stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.
· Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams, including developers with varying levels of experience.
· Lead and oversee proof-of-concepts to validate technical feasibility and business value.
· Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-as-code, branching strategies, automated code reviews, and testing.
· Establish technical direction for application development and modernization initiatives.
· Plan and coordinate integration of systems with external partners, enterprise applications, agencies, and hosting platforms.
· Design and implement application security in accordance with established policies, standards, and best practices.
· Ensure secure application development lifecycle practices are followed throughout development and deployment.
· Lead impact analysis for changes resulting from legislation, business requirements, system enhancements, and process changes.
· Troubleshoot complex system design, programming, integration, and application issues.
· Support high-availability and mission-critical applications and environments.
· Review and approve technical documentation, architecture artifacts, presentations, and system engineering deliverables.
· Ensure technical designs and applications adhere to organizational policies, standards, security requirements, and development guidelines.
· Work with product owners and development teams to refine Agile processes, prioritize backlogs, and maintain release readiness.
· Coordinate development, system testing, user acceptance testing, security, and production activities across multiple environments.
· Provide technical recommendations and decisions based on user requirements and business objectives.
· Support application integration, development, testing, and data coordination activities.
· Research and evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development tools, processes, and technology platforms.
· Recommend configuration management and DevOps best practices.
· Identify opportunities to improve application architecture, development processes, automation, and technology solutions.
· Maintain current knowledge of software development techniques and enterprise technology standards.
Required Skills
· 5+ years of experience gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
· 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, SQL, Java, and web services development.
· 5+ years of experience working within Agile development environments.
· Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-as-code, branching strategies, automated code reviews, and automated testing.
· Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including automated builds, regression and smoke testing, and multi-environment deployments.
· 2–3 Salesforce certifications.
· Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Strong experience with application architecture, system integration, and enterprise software development.
· Experience troubleshooting complex system issues and providing technical leadership to development teams.
· Strong Oracle SQL development experience, including query execution and performance tuning.
· Experience with secure application development and application security practices.
· Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Skills
· Salesforce Architect certification.
· Experience working on enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
· Database-related certifications.
· Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Field Service Lightning (FSL).
· Experience with enterprise application modernization initiatives.
· Experience leading technical architecture and design sessions.
· Experience developing and implementing scalable integration solutions.
· Experience with Agile backlog management and release planning.
· Strong knowledge of DevOps and configuration management practices.
· Experience mentoring developers and providing technical direction to development teams.
