Job Description:
We Are Seeking a senior-level Business Analyst to support critical applications and technology initiatives that ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and data integrity across complex program areas. This role will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure systems meet functional requirements and support reporting, workflow management, and data exchange needs. The Business Analyst will also lead requirements gathering, testing coordination, process improvements, and system enhancements to support mission-critical applications.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Analysis and Documentation
· Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to define system needs and priorities.
· Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
· Define acceptance criteria and support backlog management activities.
· Conduct gap analysis and recommend system improvements.
· Document end-to-end workflows and business processes.
· Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvements.
Application Support and Project Delivery
· Support the enhancement, integration, and maintenance of critical business applications.
· Coordinate with IT teams and third-party vendors to resolve defects and implement enhancements.
· Provide oversight and guidance to other analysts supporting related systems.
· Support data integrity, reporting accuracy, and application compliance requirements.
· Assist with project implementation activities and change management processes.
Testing, Training, and Collaboration
· Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities including development of test plans and scripts.
· Coordinate testing efforts with business and technical stakeholders.
· Develop and maintain test cases and testing documentation.
· Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
· Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related field.
· 8+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related IT role.
· Strong experience with requirements elicitation and documentation.
· Experience with process mapping and workflow analysis.
· Experience with data analysis and problem-solving.
· Experience developing and executing test plans and test cases.
· Experience leading User Acceptance Testing activities.
· Knowledge of data integration standards such as HL7 or APIs.
· Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
· Experience supporting complex data tracking or reporting applications.
· Experience supporting regulatory or compliance-driven systems.
· Experience supporting enterprise IT projects.
· Experience identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
· Experience mentoring or providing guidance to other analysts.
