Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Analyst – Salesforce/nCino to partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand business needs, translate requirements into functional specifications, and support the design and optimization of Salesforce and nCino solutions. This role will help ensure technology solutions align with business processes, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis experience, hands-on knowledge of Salesforce and nCino, and the ability to effectively bridge communication between technical and non-technical teams.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges, business needs, and strategic objectives.
· Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping activities.
· Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
· Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
· Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using Salesforce and nCino capabilities.
· Translate business requirements into practical solution designs following Salesforce and nCino best practices.
· Partner with Salesforce administrators, developers, configuration teams, and other technical resources to build and refine system functionality.
· Configure Salesforce and nCino components when appropriate, including fields, page layouts, validation rules, and workflow functionality.
· Support integrations between Salesforce, nCino, core business systems, and third-party applications.
· Develop test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios for system enhancements and new functionality.
· Facilitate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and validation activities.
· Validate that delivered solutions meet documented business requirements and applicable compliance, security, and audit expectations.
· Serve as a liaison between technology, operations, product teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
· Provide project updates, track risks and issues, and communicate status to project managers and leadership.
· Support change management activities, training, and rollout communications.
· Assist with data quality initiatives, including data cleansing, migration, mapping, and validation.
· Support reporting and analytics needs using Salesforce reports, dashboards, and data models.
· Ensure solutions follow applicable compliance, security, risk, and governance standards
Required Skills:
· 5–7+ years of professional Business Analyst experience, preferably within financial services, banking, or fintech.
· Hands-on experience working with Salesforce CRM, including platforms such as Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud.
· Strong working knowledge of nCino, particularly Commercial Loan Origination or Portfolio Management functionality.
· Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
· Ability to create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
· Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro.
· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
· Experience supporting software testing, UAT, defect management, and requirements validation.
· Strong understanding of business process analysis and improvement.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have:
· Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, or Platform App Builder.
· nCino certification or implementation experience.
· Experience with banking processes such as credit underwriting, loan origination, customer onboarding, KYC, or banking operations.
· Experience with SOQL, Salesforce Data Loader, SQL, or ETL platforms.
· Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and middleware platforms.
· Experience supporting Salesforce or nCino implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
· Experience working with data mapping, data conversion, and system integration projects.
· Experience supporting regulatory, compliance, risk, or audit-related technology initiatives.
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects and changing priorities.
· Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across business, technical, and leadership teams.
· Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and delivering measurable business value.
