Job Description:
A full-stack Senior Web Developer is needed to join a development team modernizing a large-scale application platform. This role focuses on migrating from an Oracle Forms-based system to a modern web-based architecture using Oracle, Java, Angular, and AWS technologies. The engagement is expected to last at least one year with a high likelihood of extension.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise web applications.
· Convert legacy Oracle Forms applications into modern web-based platforms.
· Develop RESTful APIs and implement robust backend services using Java and Spring MVC.
· Build responsive and accessible front-end components using Angular (v17+).
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
· Manage code through Git and CI/CD pipelines; contribute to automated build and deployment processes.
· Ensure applications meet Section 508 accessibility standards.
· Leverage cloud-based architecture, particularly using AWS and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform/Terragrunt.
Required Skills:
· Expert-level experience in relational database design, particularly Oracle 18+.
· Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL.
· Proficiency with Angular v17+ for frontend development.
· Expert experience with Java (v17+), Java servlets, filters, and core fundamentals.
· Deep understanding of Spring MVC (especially REST controllers) and Spring IoC.
· Proficient in Object Relational Mapping (ORM) tools such as JPA/Hibernate.
· Experience with RESTful web services; familiarity with SOAP.
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
· Proficient with Git/GitHub, Jira, Maven, and IntelliJ IDEA.
· Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility compliance.
· Proficient in AWS Cloud technologies.
· Hands-on experience with Terraform/Terragrunt for infrastructure provisioning.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
