Job Description:
We Are Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex enterprise IT initiatives in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment. This role is responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining compliance with established project management methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with extensive experience overseeing technical teams, vendor relationships, project governance, and enterprise technology implementations.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of complex IT projects from initiation through project closeout.
· Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and project documentation.
· Monitor project scope, timelines, costs, quality, risks, issues, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
· Prepare and deliver project presentations, status reports, executive updates, and stakeholder communications.
· Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
· Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are completed on schedule.
· Manage project governance activities, including project charters, communication plans, risk management plans, issue logs, change requests, and project closeout documentation.
· Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, system engineering standards, and organizational governance processes.
· Facilitate and manage project change control processes, ensuring appropriate approvals for scope, schedule, or budget modifications.
· Develop and oversee corrective action plans for projects requiring performance improvements.
· Monitor project benefits, business objectives, and the impact of change requests on project outcomes.
· Review vendor contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure contractual obligations and deliverables are met.
· Coordinate project activities across multiple business units and external partners.
· Manage project integration activities involving enterprise systems, SaaS solutions, and technical infrastructure.
· Oversee technical teams supporting system architecture, application integration, and implementation activities.
· Maintain detailed project schedules using enterprise project portfolio management tools and Microsoft Project.
· Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
· Foster effective communication and collaboration among all project participants while ensuring accountability for assigned deliverables.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
· 7+ years of experience managing enterprise IT projects using formal project management methodologies.
· Proven success delivering large-scale technology projects on time and within budget.
· Extensive experience managing project budgets, schedules, risk logs, issue logs, change requests, and project governance documentation.
· 5+ years of experience using enterprise Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools such as Clarity.
· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project.
· Experience coordinating projects across multiple business units, stakeholders, and technical teams.
· Experience managing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software implementations.
· Experience managing multi-vendor technology environments.
· Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules.
· Experience leading technical teams supporting enterprise architecture and SaaS solution integrations.
· Strong understanding of System Security Plans (SSPs) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
· Scrum Master certification.
· Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
· Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
· Previous experience as a software developer or senior technical project manager.
· Experience leading enterprise digital transformation and large-scale modernization initiatives.
· Experience working within highly regulated enterprise or government environments.
· Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies.
