KēSTA I.T. is seeking a Business Analyst with UAT experience.

Business Analyst, System Validation

We're looking for a highly skilled and analytical UAT Analyst to join our team for a major system overhaul project. This key role involves a new cloud-based implementation to modernize our commercial operations. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem-solver who can quickly grasp complex financial workflows and ensure our new system is robust, compliant, and ready for launch.

Core Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure new system workflows meet operational goals.
• Develop, execute, and document test plans for a new loan origination system, focusing on end-to-end process validation.
• Design and execute comprehensive UAT scenarios by interpreting business requirements and functional specifications.
• Document test outcomes, identify and report defects, and facilitate their timely resolution with development teams.
• Validate a range of system integrations, including core banking, credit bureaus, and document management.
• Ensure that testing coverage accounts for all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate UAT sessions, status meetings, and sign-off procedures to drive project momentum.
• Manage and prepare test data to simulate realistic loan scenarios.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress, risks, and outstanding issues to stakeholders.
• Participate in requirement reviews and cross-functional workshops to identify gaps and ensure project readiness.
• Identify and report on process or training gaps uncovered during testing.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years in UAT, QA, or Business Analysis, preferably in the financial services sector.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of lending workflows, including application, underwriting, and closing. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with test management tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to translate complex process flows into testable scenarios.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and facilitation skills, highly proactive, and a fast learner.
• Availability: Must be able to work during standard business hours in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zone.

Desired Attributes:

• Prior experience with large-scale system implementation or replacement projects.
• Exposure to an Agile or Scrum environment.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail.
