Job Description:

Broker Approval Specialist is responsible for administrative processes associated with Licensing & Third-Party Originator (TPO) approval, re-applications, and recertifications. They ensure TPOs meet all company, compliance, and licensing requirements. They manage the Licensing & TPO approval inbox and assist the sales team in providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and liaising with multiple internal departments, outsourced service providers, and agents to source data for reporting - a cooperative personality is key!
• Working collaboratively with other members of the HR & Compliance teams to provide additional resource and perspective on teams’ activities
• Assisting with special projects, and additional tasks and responsibilities, as assigned.
• Reviews, analyses, and processes TPO applications, re-applications, and recertifications.
• Completes background and fraud checks for TPOs through NMLS, States licenses, LDP, SAM, and company exclusionary lists.
• Manages TPO data and maintains data integrity in Encompass.
• Creates LOS accounts for new TPOs.
• Manages and monitors TPO compensation plan changes.
• Manages pending approval pipelines, providing status updates as necessary.
• Provides excellent customer service to prospective and existing TPOs.
