Mortgage Doc Drawer / Closer

This role sits at the finish line. You are responsible for preparing clean, accurate closing documents, clearing final conditions, and getting complex Non QM loans funded on time and without chaos. You work closely with underwriting, account executives, brokers, title, and escrow to ensure a smooth path to closing.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review closing documents for Wholesale Non QM loans
• Ensure loan terms align with final approval and underwriting conditions
• Coordinate with title and escrow to schedule and execute closings
• Review closing disclosures for accuracy and compliance
• Clear final conditions and collect required trailing documents
• Communicate proactively with brokers, AEs, and internal teams
• Manage multiple files simultaneously without missing details
• Hit aggressive turn times while maintaining high quality standards
• Identify issues early and resolve them quickly

What You Bring

• 2 plus years of experience as a mortgage closer or doc drawer
• Strong understanding of Non QM products preferred
• Wholesale lending experience strongly preferred
• Deep knowledge of closing documents including CDs, notes, riders, and conditions
• Comfort working with complex income and asset scenarios
• Extremely detail oriented with zero tolerance for errors
• Strong communication skills across internal teams and external partners
• Ability to perform in a fast paced, high volume environment

Tech and Systems

• Experience with common LOS platforms such as Encompass
• Bonus points for experience with Lending QB or MeridianLink
• Comfortable reviewing title commitments and settlement statements
• Tech savvy and adaptable to new systems and processes
