Remote Wholesale Non-QM Underwriting Manager

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Compensation: Base Salary $130,000 + Bonus (Target Total Compensation $180,000+)

We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Non-QM Underwriting Manager to lead a high-performing underwriting team for a rapidly growing wholesale mortgage lender.

This is an excellent opportunity for a current Wholesale Non-QM Underwriting Manager who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and delivering an exceptional experience to broker partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day underwriting pipeline to ensure service level commitments are met.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Non-QM underwriters.
• Handle complex underwriting scenarios and escalation requests.
• Monitor workflow, productivity, and underwriting quality.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, and Executive Leadership to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Ensure underwriting decisions comply with company guidelines and investor requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, training, and overall team performance.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.

Qualifications

• Current or recent experience as a Wholesale Non-QM Underwriting Manager.
• Strong knowledge of Wholesale Non-QM products, including Bank Statement, DSCR, Asset Qualifier, Jumbo, and other Non-QM loan programs.
• Experience managing underwriting pipelines and meeting service-level expectations.
• Proven success coaching, training, and developing underwriters.
• Strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume wholesale lending environment.
