Service Technician

Craftsman Electric has been proudly serving Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky for decades. With over 100 employees across office and field teams, the company continues to grow its service department to support residential and commercial customers throughout the region.

This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who can run service work independently, troubleshoot problems, and deliver high-quality electrical work in the field. Technicians work from service tickets throughout the day, completing a mix of smaller service calls and larger scheduled jobs. The team values electricians who take pride in their work, communicate well, and collaborate effectively with apprentices and other technicians.

What You’ll Do

• Perform electrical service work in residential and commercial environments
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete repairs or installations
• Run service jobs independently with minimal supervision
• Work from service tickets and communicate progress with the office
• Document work with before, during, and after photos
• Close out jobs and complete invoicing through the company system
• Work alongside apprentices and help share knowledge on the job when needed
• Occasionally collaborate with other technicians on larger projects

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of electrical field experience
• Ability to run service jobs independently with limited direction
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using mobile tools and technology in the field
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate with others
• Open to learning from teammates and following established job processes
• Apprenticeship training is helpful but not required
• Journeyman or Master electrician license is a plus

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• On-call rotation approximately every 17–18 days
• Most technicians average 45–50 hours per week

Compensation & Benefits

• $30–$37 per hour depending on experience and licensing
