The Facilities Maintenance Associate at Kaivac is responsible for maintaining all buildings and grounds maintenance and ensuring the facilities are clean, safe, up to code, and fully operational. As a Facilities Maintenance Associate, you will play a vital role in keeping our property, systems, and equipment in top shape. You’ll handle a variety of responsibilities including:
What You'll Do:
- Daily cleaning of the building and maintaining a brilliant facility that includes clean restrooms, breakrooms and trash disposal
- Ensures all trash is emptied in all areas of the building and outside of the building.
- Execute routine and preventive maintenance tasks across all facilities.
- Perform regular inspections, repairs, and upgrades to fire and security systems.
- Resolve key card and ID issues and ensure security camera systems are operational.
- Review security footage and fire alarm logs weekly.
- Inspect and address issues related to trash, landscape damage, or graffiti.
- Maintain seasonal sprinkler schedules and monitor ground systems.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and log maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with the Facilities Manager to maintain plant equipment.
- Track spare parts, maintenance costs, and ensure proper documentation.
