Vice President of Finance - Boyne Capital Commercial Facility Services Platform

Company 

A private equity-sponsored rapid growth commercial facilities services platform providing janitorial, cleaning, maintenance, and related services. Boyne Capital, a Miami, FL-based private equity firm, is seeking an executive partner to lead its platform investment.

 

Opportunity

Reporting to the Board and the CEO, the VP of Finance is a key partner to the executive leadership team and liaison to the PE-sponsor in the execution of the company’s strategic growth and achievement of financial goals. We are seeking a driven professional to support and improve the accounting/finance infrastructure, financially integrate add-on acquisitions, take a hands-on approach in leading the daily operations of the department, implement tracking tools, implement a treasury forecast process, and collaborate with the functional leaders in developing and executing strategic objectives for each business unit. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the finance and accounting function for the business, including tax and treasury
  • Develop and oversee financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
  • Perform the monthly closing process
  • Participate in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the annual capital and operating budget process in collaboration with other members of the executive team
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reports
  • Drive ERP implementation and enhancement
  • Lead external audits
  • Complete weekly flash/KPI dashboard, and manage key third-party relationships
  • Assist with P&C and other insurance programs
  • Play a key role in supporting the integration of add-on acquisitions
  • Spearhead financial analysis and reporting communications with the company’s private equity sponsor

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum of 3 years of audit experience at a national public accounting firm
  • Minimum of 3 years serving as a controller/similar in the lower middle market

 

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Add-on integrations of accounting and finance
  • ERP implementation/conversion/integration [NetSuite is a plus]
  • Worked in a rapidly growing, private equity-sponsored environment
  • Services industry
  • Based in MO, TX, FL, TN, the Midwest, or the East Coast
  • CPA
  • MBA/master’s degree
