Boyne Capital is a Miami, FL-based Private Equity firm that seeks to forge lasting and collaborative relationships with companies and support them in achieving their next phase of growth. Boyne partnered with CloudSAFE in August 2021 to help build a leading platform in the IT managed services space and has completed 5 add-on acquisitions since closing on the initial platform.


OPPORTUNITY

Working closely with and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Revenue Officer is a newly established role tasked with developing, leading, and executing the sales strategy to accelerate growth and maximize revenue. The ideal candidate brings cloud and managed services sales leadership experience. Proven experience in scaling the business and growing a team. Hiring, enabling, and coaching team members to be successful while maximizing individual and team performance.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all revenue-generating activities, including sales, marketing, pricing, and customer success.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the sales team in achieving/exceeding goals
  • Establish and manage annual sales goals, strategy, and budget in collaboration with the CEO
  • Develop cross-selling strategies and training programs for acquired and existing entities to provide growth opportunities and realize synergies
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) for the sales team
  • Ensure accurate and timely records/updates in Salesforce CRM
  • Assist with the recruiting and hiring of sales staff as the company grows
  • Monitor the market and competitor services
  • Maintain an understanding of the technology offerings to ensure customer needs and requirements are met
  • Review customer activity, anticipate needs, improve customer satisfaction, and grow solution footprints/offerings within the customer base
  • Establish and maintain key customer and partner relationships
  • Work with the Accounting team to coordinate the accurate and timely invoicing of customers and partners


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing/sales, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus
  • Managed Services sales experience; private or public cloud experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience and a proven and verifiable track record of effectively leading a high-performing sales team
  • In-depth knowledge of recurring revenue selling strategies and methods
  • Experience overseeing all aspects of sales funnel including;
  • Top of funnel/lead generation including branding, GTM, channel management, direct sales strategy
  • Direct sales efforts including managing the sales team, pipeline management, conversion optimization, sales tools and resources
  • Ongoing account management and customer success including cross sell, up sell, churn mitigation, cloud conversion
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able/willing to travel 35%
  • Operational knowledge of Salesforce


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with a PE-backed private company is a plus
