Job Summary

The IT Procurement & Mobility Analyst owns day-to-day IT telecommunications, hardware and software procurement, inventory, and related licensing administration — including requests, purchase orders, receiving, reporting, auditing, reconciliation, and billing coding — with a primary focus on mobile and telecom devices and services. The Analyst maintains accurate mobile associate, device, and service data; delivers recurring financial and usage reporting; monitors and improves Telecom and Procurement processes; and identifies opportunities to automate repetitive work and responsibly apply approved AI tools to high-volume, data-intensive tasks. The role works closely with the Enterprise Procurement team on sourcing, contracts, and vendor management, and has heavy day-to-day interaction with the IT support organization on mobile device tickets and service delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

Telecom & Reporting

·      Prepare a monthly telecommunications report highlighting financial variances and notable challenges and wins.

·      Monitor, reconcile, and code vendor bills to ensure accuracy and appropriate billing allocation.

·      Monitor and analyze telecommunications invoices, credits, and related data to identify trends, savings opportunities, billing or coding issues, and anomalies.

·      Identify unnecessary costs and services and make recommendations to business units.

·      Participate actively in the telecommunications budget process (requires budget knowledge; not responsible for building the final budget).

Mobility (Mobile Devices & Services)

·      Maintain accurate and current associate, device, line, status, and billing coding data across mobility vendors and internal systems.

·      Provide monthly reporting on zero-usage lines, high-data lines, rate confirmations, and new/canceled lines.

·      Manage the day-to-day vendor relationship; order and cancel equipment and services.

Data Circuits

·      Maintain inventory of all circuits and lines across all vendors and locations.

·      Provide a monthly change report.

·      Manage circuit orders and requests — send for bid, order, terminate, and inventory lines.

Procurement & IT Asset Management

·      Oversee daily IT inventory and purchasing activities, including stock and business-continuity inventory and auditing.

·      Maintain IT hardware vendor relationships and work with End User Computing to maintain hardware-purchasing standards and provide timely access to approved purchased equipment.

·      Purchase infrastructure equipment and licensing on behalf of the IT organization; maintain and periodically audit software license and subscription records (quantities, ownership, costs, renewals).

·      Ensure chargeback of all deployed hardware to appropriate business units.

·      Monitor and recommend improvements to inventory and purchasing processes and requests.

Process, Automation & Stakeholder Management

·      Create and maintain processes for mobile and data line ordering/activation/cancellation, associate and service records, financial reporting, billing coding, inventory, purchasing, and licensing.

·      Monitor and improve Telecom and Procurement processes and ServiceNow intake forms.

·      Continually identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and use approved AI tools for data-intensive work, with appropriate validation and controls.

·      Collaborate with Enterprise Procurement on sourcing, vendor management, contracts, and business continuity; maintain a strong working relationship and working knowledge of its processes and requirements.

·      Keep IT stakeholders up to date on status, risks, and challenges surrounding Telecommunications, IT Inventory, Purchasing, and licensing responsibilities.

·      Complete projects and areas-of-responsibility research as assigned.

Requirements

·      Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·      3–4 years of experience in IT procurement, telecom/mobility services, IT asset management, or a related area.

·      Knowledge of telecommunications, inventory management, procurement, and software licensing administration.

·      Demonstrated analytical capability, including the ability to work with large data sets and reconcile information across systems.

·      Strong reporting experience — recurring financial, usage, and variance reporting.

·      Ability to assess qualitative and quantitative supplier characteristics: capabilities, sustainability of supply, business/financial strength, quality, and service.

·      Knowledge of business operations and the key factors impacting business success.

·      Understanding of process components and attributes; identifies, prioritizes, and implements process improvement, automation, and appropriate AI-enabled solutions.

·      Customer orientation — continually seeks to understand and act upon customer needs, concerns, and priorities.

·      Expertise in relevant PC applications and systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Dynamics AX.

·      Experience with ServiceNow (intake forms / service management) is a strong plus.

·      Automation or AI experience is a differentiator.

Benefits

Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, wellness programs, retirement plans, and generous paid leave. Compensation includes base pay plus an annual performance bonus. Full details are shared during the offer process.
