SUMMARY:

The Power Platform Developer designs, builds, and maintains enterprise-grade solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Copilot Studio). This role leads development of scalable, secure low-code/no-code applications that integrate with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, Azure services, and third-party systems, while establishing governance standards and mentoring junior developers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience developing solutions on Microsoft Power Platform
• Strong expertise in Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse
• Experience with Power Platform ALM (solutions, pipelines, source control integration via Azure DevOps or GitHub)
• Solid understanding of Power Platform governance, security roles, and environment management
• Experience integrating with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and REST/SOAP APIs
• Familiarity with Power BI data modeling and DAX
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex projects
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to work directly with business stakeholders
• Must be able to complete and pass post-employment checks to include, but not limited to, background, drug and education

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and deploy canvas and model-driven Power Apps to solve complex business problems
• Build and optimize Power Automate flows (cloud, desktop/RPA, and business process flows) for process automation across departments
• Architect Dataverse solutions, including table design, relationships, business rules, and security roles
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling and DAX calculations
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook), Dynamics 365, Azure Logic Apps/Functions, and external APIs
• Establish and enforce governance frameworks including Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), environment strategy, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
• Lead code reviews, solution architecture decisions, and technical documentation
• Mentor junior developers and citizen developers; provide guidance on best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the platform
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Stay current with Power Platform roadmap updates, including AI Builder and Copilot Studio capabilities

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Microsoft certifications: PL-400 (Power Platform Developer), PL-600 (Solution Architect), or PL-200
• Experience with Copilot Studio / AI Builder
• Background in Dynamics 365 customization
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts
• Experience in a regulated or enterprise governance environment
