Application Security Engineer

Code Red Partners is working with an exciting, innovative and highly funded startup who are revolutionizing the digital wallet. They are a pre-IPO company with north of $125 M in funding and looking to make a key hire on their security team.

What you’ll do:

• Perform static and dynamic testing and red teaming exercises across product suite
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in code, systems and networks
• Develop automation around security best practices and throughout the SDLC
• Keep up to date with the latest security threats and best practices in the blockchain space
• Write detailed reports of your findings and present them to management and technical teams

Does this sound like you?

• 4+ years of security experience in offensive security techniques
• Strong understanding of security risks, vulnerabilities and concepts in web and mobile applications.
• Proficient in code review for JavaScript & Typescript with a strong understanding of application security threats and offensive security techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + verbal and written communication skills.
