We’re representing a fast-growing mechanical contractor seeking a Commercial Service Director to lead, scale, and ultimately own a critical revenue engine of the business.

About the Role

This is not a maintenance seat. This is a build, optimise, and lead opportunity for someone who knows how to turn service into a serious profit centre. If you’ve ever wanted full accountability for a division—where your decisions directly drive revenue, margin, and enterprise value—this is that role.

Responsibilities

  • Driving revenue growth and expanding market presence
  • Improving profitability and gross margins
  • Building and scaling service agreements (recurring revenue)
  • Elevating operational performance and technician productivity
  • Developing team structure, leadership, and accountability

Qualifications

Proven experience leading or scaling a commercial service division

Required Skills

  • Strong financial and operational acumen (revenue + margin driven)
  • Experience building teams, systems, and accountability
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, less structured environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and ownership
