Overview
Our client, a well-established and growing mechanical contracting organisation, is seeking a President to lead the company through its next phase of strategic growth.
The organisation operates multiple divisions under one brand, including residential services, retrofit and renovation work, and commercial/industrial construction. The President will oversee these business units while aligning leadership teams, strengthening operational performance, and driving long-term strategic growth.
This role requires a visionary yet hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning, strong people leadership, and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute the company’s long-term strategic vision
• Align multiple divisions and leadership teams under a unified operating strategy
• Identify opportunities for expansion, new service lines, and market growth
• Position the company for long-term scalability and sustained success
Operational Leadership
• Oversee day-to-day leadership across multiple business units
• Establish performance metrics and accountability structures across divisions
• Drive operational efficiency, profitability, and process improvement
• Ensure consistent execution across residential, retrofit, and commercial operations
Leadership & Team Development
• Build, mentor, and strengthen the executive leadership team
• Recruit and develop high-performing leaders throughout the organisation
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accountability and growth
• Serve as a visible and engaged leader across all divisions
Client & Industry Relationships
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
• Represent the company in strategic client interactions and industry engagements
• Support business development and growth initiatives
Financial & Business Performance
• Partner with finance leadership to ensure strong financial management
• Drive revenue growth and operational profitability
• Evaluate strategic investments and growth opportunities
