Good People Recruitment is partnering with a leading women's apparel company to hire a Senior Technical Designer for its woven sportswear line, covering tailoring, dresses, and wovens. In this role you'll be the technical link between design and production, making sure every style fits well, is built correctly, and is ready for the factory.

What you'll do

• Guide styles from first sample to pre-production fit approval
• Create full tech packs and graded specs, and use patterns to fix fit, shape, and silhouette
• Lead live fittings and send clear, timely fit comments to factory partners
• Give vendors grading direction after approval and check that fit stays consistent across sizes
• Partner with design, product development, and production to hit the calendar, and own the development WIP tracker

What you bring

• 7+ years in technical design, with strong women's sportswear experience in wovens, tailored pieces, and dresses
• Deep knowledge of fit, specs, and patterns
• Working knowledge of PLM, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organization and attention to detail, plus the ability to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines
• Confident communication with internal teams and overseas vendors
