The Role

We’re hiring a Director of Business Development to lead our growth.

You’ll own the full new business engine—developing strategy, opening doors, building relationships, and converting opportunities into long-term clients. You’ll work closely with the CEO and marketing team to shape how we grow across fashion, clean beauty, wellness, food & beverage, and other better-for-you brands.

This is a highly visible, high-impact role with real influence on the direction of the company.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a clear, focused sales strategy
  • Drive outbound outreach and build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Convert inbound interest into new client partnerships
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with founders and leadership teams
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, messaging, and positioning
  • Partner with the recruiting team to ensure strong delivery and client satisfaction
  • Stay close to the market—understanding hiring trends, talent gaps, and growth signals across consumer brands


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years selling recruitment services (contingent and retained search)
  • Strong network across consumer brands (beauty, wellness, fashion, CPG preferred)
  • Proven ability to open doors and close new business
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on
  • High energy, self-directed, and motivated by performance
  • Strong communicator who builds trust quickly


Compensation & Benefits

  • $200K - Base Plus Commission
  • Benefits package
  • Remote flexibility or option to work 2 days/week from our West Adams, Los Angeles office
