Chief Operating Officer

Design-Forward Home Wellness Brand | Pacific Northwest (In-Person)

We're partnering with Prowaken, a design-forward home wellness brand, to find a Chief Operating Officer - someone who can take a lot of ambition and turn it into a company that actually runs. This is the person who'll own how work moves, how decisions get made, and how the business scales without losing speed or quality along the way.

Prowaken makes what it calls the Home Vitality System - products built to help people feel fully alive at home. It started with a cold plunge, designed and assembled in the Pacific Northwest, positioned as an easier way into a daily cold ritual, and there's more on the way.

The ambition is already there. What the business needs now is the operating system underneath it - a clearer rhythm, sharper ownership, and a leadership team that spends less time recovering and more time building.

The Role

As COO, you'll partner directly with the CEO and the leaders who own product, revenue, people, and finance. You'll set the operating rhythm, clarify who owns what, and shift the team's effort toward the work that actually matters.

Expect a lean leadership team, direct access to performance data, and real authority to simplify how the organization runs. This is a true operator seat, not a narrow staff function, and there's room to build the system rather than inherit a finished one.

What You'll Own

You'll install an operating cadence that turns annual priorities into quarterly plans, weekly execution, and results people can actually see. That includes putting a small set of operating metrics in leaders' hands so problems surface early and get acted on, not discovered after the fact.

You'll raise on-time delivery and customer reliability by clearing the bottlenecks that slow teams down, and shorten cycle time across core workflows - from commitment to delivery, and from issue to resolution - without adding bureaucracy.

You'll also design a structure that scales, with clear owners, decision rights, and hiring plans tied to growth. You'll build a leadership bench so functional heads run their own areas and only escalate what truly needs the top. And you'll protect margin and cash by lining up capacity, spend, and priorities behind the work that drives results.

What We're Looking For

You've led multi-function operations and can point to measurable gains in delivery, quality, or cost. You've built planning systems and scorecards that leaders actually use, and you've redesigned roles, teams, and decision rights through a period of growth or change.

You coach senior leaders and hold a high bar without creating fear or drag. You're fluent in capacity, forecasts, unit economics, and tradeoffs, and you get energy from building the operating backbone of a company that's moving fast.
