Opportunity: Our client is an US based software development company.

Technical Delivery Manager (US Clients- remote), This role entails overseeing a collection of projects, handling everything from complete project delivery to team management (including recruitment, oversight, and dismissals), issue resolution, client relations, and expansion. The position involves approximately four weeks of travel annually, likely including quarterly visits to clients and additional meetings with internal teams

Ideal candidate: have proven leadership success track record in US Clients Technical Delivery Management for Software Development / IT Consulting Area (Candidate has to be Polish/Romanian resident and have the ability to invoice our client on monthly basis)


🔸Key responsibilities and tasks🔸

  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and leadership of projects while handling internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, build, and guide multidisciplinary technical teams. Ensure all team members are clear on their roles and duties, and provide mentorship.
  • US Client and Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the intermediary between technical staff and non-technical parties such as clients, executives, and other departments. Effectively relay updates on project status, issues, and results, manage expectations, and secure client satisfaction.
  • Account Retention and Growth: Tasked with maintaining client relationships and driving both growth and improvements in Gross Profit Margin KPIs.
  • Risk Management: Detect potential risks in projects and teams, crafting strategies to mitigate these risks. Oversee and control risks to reduce their influence on project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Guarantee that project outputs adhere to established quality standards and requirements. Implement quality management practices to ensure this.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage the distribution of resources, including staff, equipment, and software tools, to support project objectives.
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets to ensure expenses do not exceed set limits.
  • Timeline Management: Handle project scheduling and timelines, monitor ongoing progress, and adjust schedules as necessary to maintain project timelines.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep thorough records of project processes, including status updates, project plans, and essential documents.
  • Foster a positive, open, cooperative, enjoyable, and trustworthy work environment that enables teams to efficiently produce high-quality results swiftly.
  • Embody a philosophy of curiosity and trust in relationships and conflict resolution.
  • Enable decision-making, solve issues, and build consensus among team members and interconnected teams.
  • Compile performance data and communicate project statuses to stakeholders and senior management.

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management with a recent 3+ years of Technical Delivery/Program Management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing executive-level stakeholder relationships.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role with responsibility for full lifecycle team member management.
  • Experience with business travel with US based clients. Ability to travel up to 4-6 weeks a year if needed.
  • Skilled at navigating challenging conversations externally and internally.
  • Advocate for autonomous, self-organizing, empowered, and continuously improving teams.
  • Experience working with remote / 3rd party team members in an Agile environment within globally distributed teams.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience in software development or quality assurance.
  • Experience in managing both legacy project initiatives and startups development from scratch.
  • Acute attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
  • Ability to analyze and use data to inform decisions.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze processes, identify problems and trends, develop effective solutions and strategies.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter.
  • Knowledge of version and change control best practices.
  • Atlassian administration experience (Confluence, Jira)
