Our client is a well-known European tech company recently acquired by a major e-commerce digital group. As the organization enters a strategic transformation phase, it is looking for a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial direction of the company, support its restructuring, and help integrate operations into the group’s broader structure.

🔸 Ideal Candidate 🔸

We are looking for a strategic, business-minded finance leader with strong corporate finance and reporting skills, ideally with experience working with or within French companies. Fluency in French is essential, along with a solid understanding of international reporting standards, especially under French financial regulations. The ideal candidate may come from a consulting or audit background and has a proven ability to navigate complex international environments. Industry knowledge of the tech/IT sector and experience in business transformation will be valuable. This is a key leadership role requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to serve as a strong link between the local team in Poland and the French headquarters.

🔸 Key Responsibilities 🔸

• Lead the financial strategy and operations across all business entities
• Support organizational restructuring and integration into a broader European group
• Manage and improve financial reporting in line with French regulatory and corporate governance standards
• Act as the financial liaison between Polish operations and the French leadership team
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and performance tracking
• Participate in strategic planning and executive decision-making
• Occasional business travel to France, especially during onboarding and key phases
• Optional opportunity to join the company’s Management Board (based on profile)

🔸 Your Profile 🔸

• Fluency in French and English (Polish native speaker preferred)
• Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles (e.g. CFO, Finance Director)
• Strong financial reporting and corporate finance background
• Experience working with or for French companies or within the French legal/financial system
• IT/tech industry exposure is a plus
• Previous experience at an audit or consulting firm
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication skills
• Open to occasional international travel (mainly to France)

Salary: up to 40,000–50,000 PLN/month B2B (for board-level candidates)

30,000–35,000 PLN/month B2B (for non-board level profiles)
